  1. Mick says:

Listening to Dr Campbell :) One very smart man !

  2. Jensey says:

Nice idea Annmarie … a good idea to attempt to help folks assimilate all the info from this week … it’s been quite a ride.

  3. Kevin C says:

How sad…It’s early days on this call but the message already seems to be “let’s all be omnivores” and continue to contribute to the suffering of animals on this planet. This is a very disappointing conclusion as there are plenty of plant based sources of protein such as beans, lentils and so on. I guess we all have to find what works for us, but for me ethics is more important.

    • Will says:

Really? If that’s the message you got after all the info presented then run with it. Be sad. I suspect, hwvr, the more cerebral members of the listening audience conclude that there are different paths for different individuals based on their own individual health priorities i.e. spiritual vs physiological, the planet vs the individual, the hereafter vs the here & now, and so on… go hug a tree and, as you firmly squeeze (tears rolling down cheeks), rest assured that others are at least as capable as you in pursuing their own priorities.

    • Sue says:

I think Mike Adams is a vegetarian.

      • Melina says:

Mike said at the beginning of the call that he is now an omnivore. He did not go into detail about it though..

        • Mike says:

Who cares what he eats LOL. That is kinda missing the point of the whole talk.

          • Sue says:

The reason I brought it up was because of Kevin C’s comment re “lets all be omnivores”. Didn’t hear at the beginning Mike say he is now an omnivore. Will listen to beginning again.

  4. James Kahan says:

This wrap up is Excellent. Certainly the most practical, useful aspect of the whole seminar. It would be interesting if Kevin asked some of the presenters the same questions as he asked Sean and Mike.

I’m really impressed by Mike. I have never heard him talk before, but i am in complete agreement with his idea of intention being the key factor in choosing the diet that works for you.

I like Sean but i still hear SO much Paul Chek in him. He just simplifies it and makes it easier to digest. It would definitely be worth getting Chek on the show at some time.

  5. Kevin C says:

It’s a spurious argument that we should eat what our ancestors ate because our genetics have changed and we’re living in a different time and environment now.

    • Rebecca says:

There is no proof that our “genetics” have changed. Humans are humans and our bodies were not originally made to eat flesh. The fact that people do much better eating fruits and vegetables, getting protein from non-animal sources, is proof that we still need to respect what our bodies respond to the best. Each one needs to know his or her body and accommodate how it functions better; however, it’s still done within the fruit, vegetable and non-animal protein food choices. Someone that does not have the best interests of human dietary needs has done a good job of convincing many people that we can eat crap and still survive well … either in the now or in the future.

    • Mike says:

Quite the contrary. It takes anywhere from 50 to 500 thousand years for any major changes to take place in the genome of any species. The fact that we have been meat eaters for probably longer than 2 million years, still serves as the strongest reason to be confident in including meat in the diet of a person who examines this argument. It’s actually the deviation from our ancestral way of eating that may predispose humans to disease — and that of necessity includes the standard American diet (above all).

  6. Kevin C says:

You can’t tell in two weeks whether something is affecting you long term. How do you know it’s working or not? You have to look at the research. There are countless cases of people being healed of degenerative illnesses by eating a plant based diet, but who has been healed from anything, except perhaps anaemia, by eating meat? I feel this call is now turning into a big meat selling exercise which is very unfortunate, however we all have choice.

    • Joshua says:

2 weeks do not determine any indication for lifetime, considering the there are nutriets that can stored eg fat soluble, b12 ect. Another point is that if someone is feeling great after 2 weeks how do you if it’s legitimately because it’s a healthier lifestyle or if it’s an adrenalin High unless you test.

Plant based diets have been shown to be healing however there is little evidence of humanity thriving off it

      • Sue says:

The elimination diets are done this way. Its at least a guideline. Usually foods will give you an indication if they are right for you: bloating, constipation, reflux, sinus, etc.

    • Howard Veit says:

I agree…the last two speakers took the whole discussion in an unfortunate direction. Letting people make individual decisions about their health is obvious. But, those decisions should be based at least in part by good science. To say that the science is confusing and that we should reach ‘within’ to find the right answers is not helpful. There is a lot of good science out there that people should no about. Dr. Campbell presented some and there is much more out there. I wish the sessions had included more scientists.

  7. Rebecca says:

I don’t know what I did wrong; however, I couldn’t hear Charlotte Gerson or anything else. ???????

  8. Marymouse says:

Growing up (I’m 66), I remember eating beans/rice and lots of veggies Mon. thru Thurs.@ Fri nite was Fish – Sunday was Meat! What if we all went back to that pattern with grassfed meat, and eggs a couple of days a week and some raw dairy. If everyone did that mindfully, perhaps that could work. Now, folks are eating lots of breads/meats pkg. foods at every meal. But, there still remains the issue of ecology. How can we keep our planet healthy with animal products abounding. Hope they talk about that more. Thanks AnneMarie so glad for you inputs, always…oxox

  9. Jensey says:

Kevin, This one night has been far superior to the rest of the nights combined and multiplied by 10 (my opinion). Thank you very much for this call. For my household, it was the WoW night. Bless . . .

  10. Sue says:

Croxton and Adams best talk. Agree with Jensey above. Both very balanced speakers.

  11. anatol says:

mark and sean make no sense at all…
    lots of fuzzy logic…
both pushing eating animals i guess without knowing that it is not sustainable…
this is not individual choice, we are all in this together…

paleo diet… if all people, hypothetically decided to do so; first all those selling grass fed cattle would become filthy rich… so there is the greed incentive… but it’s not sustainable…

everyone should ignore what is obvious… almost everyone overweight… many are obese…many have cancer heart disease diabetes etc.

we should ignore credible science ?
“fix your digestion so you can eat animals”…
why is your digestion bad in the first place?
i fixed my digesting by going vegan 40 years ago and it still works…

“do not believe that meat is a major factor causing cancer and meat”… BS, meat makes body acid, therefore cancer

one thing they are right about is to stay away from processed food and grow your own… good

but they definitely seem to be leaning in the WAPF direction…

    not worth listening to…
    their leaning toward meat eating,
discounts anything else good they might say…

    • Joshua says:

      Dogmatic
      Discounts anything you might say

    • Wonderwife says:

The main source of our health problems including cancer is coming from the over consumption of processed foods, chemicals, eating unhealthy fats made in a laboratory, sugar and toxins in our environment. People did not have all these diseases until the industry changed our diet. People ate meat for millions of years without getting cancer.

It is also these same diet changes are destroying people’s digestive systems along with the chlorine in our water supply. The over consumption of sugar, processed carps, chemicals, and anti- biotics is what is doing it……not the meat.

      • Mike says:

Well said, I think if if it’s a whole food given to you from mother nature — whether it be plant or animal, it cannot possibly be the inherent cause of any chronic disease.

    • Chris.S says:

Wow are you kidding? Sean and Mike, as many others have said, are really clear and interesting even compared to some of the other speakers!

Not worth listening to just because they inlcude meat? Far out, they have really shared some valueble information here. It’s not all just ‘meat encouragement’ and if you listened to what they said, they are presenting a very clear message of encouraging a whole, healthy lifestyle.

    THERE ARE NO PLAY BUTTONS!!!

Charlotte Gerson is the primary person I want to hear! Does anyone else have them?

  13. Janet says:

Thank you so much Kevin! This was a fabulous week. You pulled off an amazing feat getting all these folks to participate. Your interview style and Ann Marie’s idea to do the wrap up were both right on. A chat with Sean and Mike was the perfect choice for the final show. Like Donna Gates said, I’m so proud of you! Kevin, you and Ann Marie are young folks who show a lot of wisdom. Thank you for all your efforts, time and energy on behalf of health and conscious living. You show such respect for your listeners in the ways you help us assimilate a broad range of information from which we can make our own choices.

  14. Sue says:

Anatol, you should then be only listening to vegan speakers and ignore everyone else. You mind is made up and its your choice. As both speakers said “Its up to you”. Just have respect for others’ opinions.

    • Rachael says:

Sue, I have read many of your posts these last few days and you seem to always preach to the vegans to ‘listen to and respect others” and such, but you NEVER EVER acknowledge the vegans’ viewpoint. This doesn’t make much sense… you OBVIOUSLY don’t have ANY respect for vegetarian or vegan standpoints. So funny how this works… shame on you!

      • Sue says:

The ones I replied to usually were very preachy. I respect their choice but don’t agree with it.

        • Rachael says:

That is the VERY first time you’ve said anything at all acknowledging any of their viewpoints… just because you don’t agree with it doesn’t mean it’s wrong by the way.

And vice versa… but don’t discount the fact that you yourself come off extremely preachy.

    • anatol says:

“it’s up to you” is a meaningless reverse psychology trick

and then they go and push eating animals

they give their POV about what to eat or not

i give my POV about what to eat or not and back up with lots of stories, my own experiences, what i believe in spiritual… etc.. what i feel is important

      what is your problem?
why don’t you do the same, say what you are for and against?

i’m not telling you who to listen to or not
      “it’s up to you”

      love & light,
      anatol

  15. Dale says:

Great info on these calls tonight

  16. nichole says:

I have to say I’m a bit surprised, but I really like what Mike and Sean had to say especially toward the end.

Kevin, I wish you would have included another speaker in particular but even without this person and even though there was a lot of information I disagreed with (along with some information I certainly did agree with) I feel that you put on a successful show and I’m thankful that you made it available to everyone.

I’m excited now to finally listen to Mr. Campbell.

  17. Janet Jagg says:

This was the best segment of the whole week. I found Sean very funny. Especially the part about the show “Sean Can’t Cook” and the horrid liver dish. I hadn’t laughed all week. Diet is serious business, but it should also be enjoyable. Tonight was definitely that and thought provoking too. I found out about The Great Health Debate because I receive Mike’s newsletter and I really resonate with his value system. Both men were fantastic. Jan Hagg

  18. anatol says:

Drs Campbell, Fuhrman, Goldhamer and others like them are right on… worth listening to…

also, “Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease”
    Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., M.D.

real credible MDs, credible nutritional health research… honesty, simplicity, accessible to common man

    Plant based diet: lots of greens, veggies, fruit, seeds, nuts, legumes, few select whole grains;

avoid all processed foods: animals, salt, sugar, flour, extracted oils, over-processed grains, prepared foods with all kind of unnecessary additives

that’s the basic core to start of with; although it looks simple, some may need guidance; for me it was really simple; i was already a pretty good vegan since 1971 with some ups and downs; then 9 years started Dr Fuhrman’s Eat to Love approach and very happy with it; for me this is the simplest best approach…

how some can discount this brilliant research is beyond me

which has been so successfully implemented by some, like Dr Fuhrman MD for over 15 years family practice with thousand of patients recovering from diseases, overweight, obesity, heart, diabetes, etc

thanks Kev for Campbell, Fuhrman, Goldhamer

    • Howard Veit says:

I agree. It is one thing to get lost in the array of conflicting opinions, and another thing to recognize that there really is some good science out there that can guide us to healthier food choices. Campbell, Goldhammer, Fuhrman along with Esselstyn, McDougall, Ornish and others have put together a general outline of a whole foods plant based approach to eating that has improved the health of tens of thousands of people. I am afraid this great information may have gotten lost in the shuffle during this debate. I thought the final two speakers added more confusion than light.

    • Chris.S says:

I don’t understand why so many vegans seem almost hateful towards anyone who even remotely encourages any form of eatinng animal product. Completely disgregarding the speakers that had anything to do with meat as “not worth listening to” seems so ignorant.

How on earth one can’t at least accept the possibility that the other way of eating works so well for so many people? It has been stated over and over, even by some of the vegan speakers.

I can’t understand the shutting off & blocking out of these amazing speakers, like JE williams who is obviously a lovely soul, lived with the eskimo’s and lived their way of life, with their vibrant health into old age on an all meat & fat diet. That doesnt say he’s a die hard meat only fanatic.. it’s just an observation of the other end of the spectrum of what’s possible with vibrant health. If you can’t see that AT ALL, then you have your eyes shut.

I massively respect Dr Fuhrman and the others that share his principles.. it’s incredible the healing work they’ve done in so many. But I also respect the others, because if you really look.. with your eyes and ears open, you can plainly see that they have also helped masses of people find their way as well!

You can tell that even Kevin respects these guys & their opinions, or why would he even bring them on the show? That’s keeping a true open mind.

I guess I just wish everyone would be more open and accepting that there really isn’t just *one way*, and stop hating on those that don’t agree with their narrow opinion.

Those of us that are concious about food, whether vegan, vego, or whole food meat based, should be working together to encourage the rest of the world who aren’t, about getting back to real whole food and away from SAD, sugary processed modern junk. That’s where the real battle should be fought.

      • Joshua says:

Well said however ive noticed after looking through the boards is that alot of the dogmatic Vegans that are are being very spitefull and rude happen to be posting simular comments throught the same board multiple times, eg look how many time “anatol” has posted in this one

        • Kym says:

I have to agree. There have been some great comments over the past week – learned a lot – but for some reason tonight the comments are dominated by a few people pushing their dogma. Totally against the spirit of the whole event. The willful ignorance just drains my energy.

      • B~ says:

I know you don’t get why vegans are so upset, but I don’t think they really care what people eat it just comes across that way. We want to end animal cruelty and it’s a completely different issue that gets thrown in the mix of diet like it even matters. What matters is the animals…if I told you you had to get used to a community that raised cats and dogs that way some of the meat eaters might get upset also. I know even the biggest meat eaters are against dogs and cats being put down in shelters and would opt for no kill.

So that’s entirely what this is about and the way people talk so blase’ about animals as a food group with no mention of their living conditions except throwing around the word “humane” gratuitously. It’s just not going to go away or be accepted that well. You might as well tell us you want to eat toddlers for breakfast. It’s just too much to listen too imho

  19. Colleen says:

A wonderful, information filled week, Kev. I learned from each call, but I have to say that night one, and tonight were the calls that really resonated with me.
Thanks for all the hard work and the sleepless nights. You, Mike Adams, Sean and Dr. Mercola all have a very balanced approach,in my opinion. We all have to pick our trusted sources of information. I just gave you mine. Lots of love to you and Annmarie.

  20. Mini. says:

Thank you for this much needed debate.

I wanted to add that Ininuit people need high fat diet because they live in extreme cold. My 13 year old spent 24 hrs outside in below – 9 F on a scouting trip. He lost a lot of weight in one day!

  21. Linda says:

I must say I’m disappointed in some/many of these ‘experts’. Adams says the peoples of the Andes eat lots of potatoes and meat (then later even says they eat lard). Yet Williams and Gianni says they eat lots of potatoes and very little meat. Which is it alot or alittle meat?? Now …either these aren’t experts or their sample size is too small…either way I’m not sure I got any better info than asking the opinion of the person behind me in line at the local grocery.

  22. Mel says:

    Tonight is awesome!

The China Study: More Vegan Nonsense! – Anthony Colpo

    http://anthonycolpo.com/?p=129

  24. Joshua says:

    Thanks kev for the show
However it is a bit frustrating that some experts were unapossed as I feel alot of us general listens/views had some counter arguments against some points.

Though it’s great to be given a variety ofdifferent people who we may not know , explain a different angle to wellbeing/weldoing

  25. Eric Hartunian says:

I was honored to be allowed to experience this event. Thank-you Mr. Kevin Gianni and TEAM.

  26. Lola says:

Wow! What a finale’. You guys were great tonight! Bless you! I’m sorry vegans seem so angry. I’m all for fruits, nuts, vegetables, but I believe there’s value in meat also. I have an uncle who is 102 years old and still going strong. He’s loved to fish all his life, and has always eaten well, stir fried LOTS of veggies and threw in some beef strips etc. He’s never had cancer; can’t remember when he was sick. He’s a gentle, gracious, and loving human being. He lives in KS where vegetables aren’t grown year ’round, so has to buy from the store. He’s a retired farmer and wood carving hobbyist and a great example for the rest of us! From my perspective I think the important thing is to steer away from drugs, toxic chemicals, vaccines, and highly processed foods, get out in the sun, exercise, and encourage others.
This series has been wonderful. Thanks again, Kevin, for all your hard work. Take a little time off now, will ya, and get some sleep? (smile)(Spoken as a mother…I’m 67)

  27. Shakti says:

Thank you for this event. I enjoyed listening to almost all of the experts (Sally Fallon’s bombastic talk being the only exception). All the other experts gave me something to think about. I appreciate all the effort that was put into it, and I appreciate that you offered the event as initially free.

  28. Pat says:

Ok so accordingly to Charlotte Gerson and Colin Campbell vegetarian diet appears to be the best, what about Maasai or other ethnic groups (Eskimo past tense) who thrive on mostly meat based diet and doing (great?). No processed food, connection with the nature, low stress, plus a lot of meat and dairy, interesting.

  29. Mel says:

This was the best night! Thank you, Kev for The Great Debate!!!

    Mel

  30. Melina says:

Great wrap-up call! I enjoyed listening to both Mike and Sean.
    Thanks again :)

  31. Sue McKellar says:

layer 2 cut out after 50 minutes yesterday. Today it only played for 50 seconds.

Please can you fix it so I can hear the wrap-up call.

I can never get player 1 to play.
    many thanks.

    • Chris.S says:

It’s more likely to do with your own internet, PC or operating system. These have all worked for me at any time without fail, which means they can’t really ‘fix it’ at their end for individuals. Try using a different browser such as firefox, google chrome or other, that usually will allow it to work for you :)

  32. Manuel says:

The excusitys to meat eating Have just grown and grown, and the whole thing smels fishy to me. You all seem to think that you have a choice on how to eat, to fit your body? or your addiction? You mean that a cow in Russia its grass, but another cow in America its meat! and yet another cow in between just finds an excusltys to listen to his addicted tast buds as if it is listening to it’s body.
About inhability of the stomach to digest meat because it,s not functioning properly,it is not the truth, If you get a acid stomach from meat eating,it is because either you wrongly combined it with sartch or something else, or because you became a raw food eater or vegetarian and your unconcious mind is not prepared to goback to the old sick behaviour, and so excess pepsin is released.
I have been experimenting with foods for over 30 years now,and while I was on raw fruits grees and avocadoes I never got sick, but when I went and eat chicken or fish organically raised or not,I could feel wast rising in my body, and my beautifull connection to the spirit dented, and I would be fine after a few days cleaning up, but now after living in my body for 61 years, and various accident damages,my body speaks alright! And tells me of every time I did eat another being, but my hair is still brown
and my body looks and feels young,in spite of the accident damages…You see.I never found an excuse for my weaknesses by changing diet, because I know that I have to give it time and proper care before I can complain… I know that raw food, fruits grees avos sea weeds honey pollen will keep any body in top conditions and even heals the mind connection,by propeling us to analise our acctions till the point that we start to get intuitive thoughts about who we trully are, just as long as we give our bodys a transition according to our condition it fits everybody!!!!
You wanting it or not, this planet is the animal kingdown ruled by instint, which most of you refere to as low animal staff, but none of you know what it really is! You are all scared of it, religions have programed you to be that way, because they could not rule wild and free people…..On and on I could go, but I will only say one more thing:
Remember the tsunamys samewere in Asia on the day after christmas? Were was the humans god when so many thousands of childrens and adults lifes were taken by nature, at this crucial religious time the humans God failed them, while real Gods Inteligence which you put down as instint, warned the elefants, who started to try braking down they place, so they keeper have to take them to the mountains, which saved his own life as well……
I say that all of you meat promoters are far behind the lines of wisdom love and kindness, and most of the raw food promotors I see David Wolf and Gabriel Cousens in the led, even if I desagree with various of their believes. But you all sound very insecure about it some how, What happens? do yous people have a gun pointing at you from somewere or something?

  33. Manuel says:

I woul also like to say that after all, this whole health debate seemms to be designed to give meat eaters excuses to be that way, plus weakening the believes of some new vegetarians or vegans… It also have badly damaged the works of great pioners on real health, Like Arnold ereht Paul Bragg Ross Horn,Victoras Kulvinskas,Hovanessian eterov
Morris Crok and many others, who gave their lifes to the real good of our planet, at a time when it was most dificult to do so.
Even Jesus the man, was known to be a natural Hygiene student. Thou shall not kill, remember? About the excuse that we have to kill a plant to eat it is just so full of bulshit! We can eat a celery leaf, and we can propagate the seeds of the fruits we eat seeds and all, It is not like an animal that speaks to us true our minds ears,we see them shaking in fear and hearthem screaming in pain, and you know that you cannot cut an animals leg and it grows again like a tree does.. In other words, in real communication, plants tell us little of their pain, but as I said before,we do not need to kill plants to feed from them, It was only the speakers clear excuse to give himself and other meat eaters a chance to eat meat, a choice that is not his to give, which is the bilions of animals suffering till they final death!!!! Well! you dont want to change? That is your karma I gess, after all you could and should have down to avoid suffering and negative Karma by freeing the animals, and you all did not! I believe it’s now on natures hand to continue to round you up,and be treated like you treated those animals on agenda 21 style until natures final show down, by what you call desease and what you call natural accidents, You cannot beat nature!!! About animals eating each others, it’s truth now, but before we tampered around with them and destroy almost all they food sources, the meat eaters were there only to eat the milions of those who died every day, and those scavengers instintively only bred to the proper numbers and some others could eat other foods as well, until man decided to be the callif instead of the callif and trow everithing out of balance, proclaimed himself as inteligent and all the rest was there to serve him…We can well see that most animals do not like humans one bit,but they are now very confused and away from they paradise ..THANKS TO HUMANS.. and a few of them wee force to surrender to certain human devious technics to lure them,as they pets and some as they food,The poor fellas cannot even have a family of their own!It is got to be a human telling then how to be a dog, when this human does not even know who he real is. There is or ever was a so very sad story, and a bigger crime ever! All for glutony and sick power. Damm all meat eaters that dont want to be open to the truth!
I have lived around dogs and cats, and even thought they are very traumatised and forced into submission, they are very loving and caring for each others, better then most human beings, criticise me if you like but know I have little consideration for people that use our brother beings for food, when I know a 1000% sure that it is not necessary, and it is a physical and mental health hazard away from the realms of our spirit.
Animals learned to hunt because ther was not enough dead animals for them, and on the top of it humans started giving them competition by eating meat as well, and In a new restricted world by man, Hunting become a passtime. The story is very long to tell here but my spirit keeps showing it all to my mind as if I was there.
Science is there to replace religion, as religion is failing, science will keep us in the same fear as religion but with more toys.but a thight control, until nature stretchs it’s muscles and puts an end to the sad story..Who knows! Maybe meat eaters will become cows and pigs some time! What goes aroud comes around!

  34. Dale says:

Charlotte info on salt was great. I don;t think anybody has talked about this yet on the series.

    • Kevin C says:

Dr Fuhrman said that salt is poison in his call, if I remember correctly, but what Charlotte said was wonderful to hear too. Once again, Kev, thanks for asking all the right questions about dairy, cooked vs raw, it’s really helped to clear things up for me.

  35. Marge says:

Dr. T. Colin Campbell’s talk was the best!!

Let’s go with the science and not with personal opinions from people who have not fully studied the science behind diet.

Personal opinions are a dime a dozen, but I would rather go with the science.

I have been mostly vegan for 32 years and feel the results in my own body also.

    • Luis says:

Science schmience. JE Williams and Will Tuttle both spoke from a true place and that´s all we need. Vegan or hunter, both as valid. And how about a glass of wine and a little olive oil in Sardinia from time to time. Life is a mystery. There is no way that science will ever map the inner workings of our bodies or the vastness of the universe. But do skip junkfood.

  36. I enjoyed this event very much, thank you Kevin and Ann Marie and all the guestspeakers!
I was a vegeterian for 3 years, the last year i tried to do raw food vegan..at first i had great results..my menstuation pms disappeared and i lost lot’s of weight..
But suddenly i got serious skin issues, blood sugar issues, extreme fatique- tiredness and could not funktion … first i stayed vegan and ate cooked grains and steamed veggies..good organic clean stuff..nothing really changed.. after about 3 month i craved animal foods so much that one day i binged on eggs ;) and i felt amazing! My blood test at that time showed very low zinc and B-vitamin levels … I started eating fish again. I am allergic to dairy though. Now my blood results normalize i have more energy and strengh and even loose weight! SO my friends, keep an open mind and find out what works for you! Not everyone trives on raw food veganism…not everyone thrives on meat, animal foods ect.
Much love from Denmark! Bianca Maria

Kevin and Annmarie: I just wanted to say that this whole event has been awesome. I’ve listened to many interview series and this has been by far the best.

After 20-plus years on various forms of veg/raw diet, I was experiencing some serious failure to thrive – as with so many of us long-termers. Your selection of speakers has given me the info I need to move forward.

I’ll keep my conclusions to myself so the overabundance on haters on the forum tonight don’t jump me, but I just wanted to say, damn fine job, bud! :-)

  38. Chris says:

I think the overriding feeling i get from the talks (which have been excellent) is that biochemical individuality is of paramount importance. What works for some will not work for all and i think that differing views should be heard and respected.
Although i eat meat i found Dr Gerson and Colin Cambell talks very interesting. I would though, like to hear from them about the reason they would attribute to earlier points made by Dr Williams stating that he observed the Inuits who had a high animal protein diet and low disease rates until processed western foods were addedd to their diets.
It seemed to me that a lot of the key points in talks from both viewpoints was that as soon as food was processed in any way disease rates increased. It would be interesting to see what a diet containing organically farmed vegetables and meat with no added pesticides etc would do for disease rates.
It seems as if Colin Cambell was illuding to doing a study like this and i hope if he does it is well controlled as it would be fascinating to see the results.

  39. Kevin C says:

Kev – thanks so much for putting on this series of talks, I sincerely appreciate it. At times I felt confused with so much conflicting information, but it’s good to think it through. I concluded that I want to remain vegan, but I am going to introduce some cooked foods such as steamed vegetables, beans, starchy vegetables (as Dr Goldhamer suggested) and oats into my diet (which was pretty much raw) as well as supplementing vitamin B12 and omega 3 from flax oil and see how things go. I do believe this will be sustainable and healthy.

  40. del says:

Charlotte Gerson was great! She’s amazing. I wish her well and a long long life of sharing her information. She’s inspiring.

I’m glad for Dr. T. Colin Campbell’s work. I wish more studies were along his line of thinking so we can get to true science. So much is corporate greedy nonsense.

It was great to learn about Sean Croxton who I never heard of before. He is a funny guy and I think he’s sincere in his search for ultimate wellness. Eventually I think he’ll move more and more towards a plant base diet if he stays on the path.

Mike Adam is a hero, a peaceful warrior who is out on the front lines. His thoughts and ideas are always practical and down to earth.

Hearing so may people on this blog living 30 or 40 years on a vegan diet and doing very well pretty much convinces me that a plant base diet is sustainable long term if you are conscious about it and willing to stay open and learn how to do it well. But on the other hand I do think people can live a long and healthy life being a health conscious omnivore and balancing all the other factors of health. Nutrition is only one aspect of overall health and wellness as everyone knows.

Thanks Kev and Annmarie for putting this all together. Happy Valentines to you!

thanks so much for organising this – interestingly after reading an earlier comment i went digging and newspringpres.com has a new item by Dr. GOnzales we wil all be interested in “What Should I Eat? Nutrition, the Autonomic Nervous System and Health
The world of diet and nutrition can be confusing, not only to lay people seeking a healthier way of life, but also to professionals trying to sort through a morass of sometimes contradictory information. At the Whole Life Expo in Toronto, Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez discussed the physiology and biochemistry of dietary individuality, and made sense out of the confusion in the nutritional field and the contradictory statements of “experts.”

  42. anatol says:

Hi Kevin, [i wrote this a few days ago; but it's still applicable overall; i would like to email you offline if you are accessible that way; thanks Kevin]

This is my wrap up for you… hope you read this… the good the bad and the ugly… oh! first let me congratulate you for even attempting this since i realize the difficulties… which i express next… thanks for your efforts…

Where i’m coming from… I do subscribe to the principle that each of us( 7billion ) has a unique POV… sort of like no two snow flakes are alike… and actually each of us lives in a unique world of ones own creation… a unique own-mind-created-world of thoughts-ego-intellect and wisdom or lack of… if you will… although this is one aspect( diversity ) of the nature of things, obviously this a huge communication problem and creates much stress for everyone… friend and foe alike… in all of this diversity and confusion, we need to keep our sanity and hopefully some wisdom…

the other aspect of the nature of things is … is to see the oneness of all… but this is only possible if… we become completely free of all conditioning of the mind( actually all knowledge good bad ugly is surrendered… at least for a moment ) and awaken to our true nature as awareness-love-peace… this is rare, but some of us are working on this primarily… and nutrition is just an aid, secondarily… but for most of us, this means keeping the eye on the bigger picture… it may be better to be not so healthy, not so wealthy, but rather to follow the silence & wisdom of ones heart… which will determine our next life and our spirituality…
    reference: http://www.mooji.com & http://www.globalonenessproject.org/interviewee/llewellyn-vaughan-lee

meanwhile we do the best we can with common sense wisdom and what i call honest science… now back on track to nutritional knowledge…

So, the following is just my 2cents POV, from my 40 years of veganism( allergic to dairy) with a little of vegetarianism( six months in India )… and a little very very little fish now an then… my first 31 years of life I was a meat eater…

my father, a heavy meat eater, overweight and in serious trouble, became a vegan at age 55, lost 70 lbs and extended his life by about 10 to 20 years, passing away at 82… he did not have the best nutritional knowledge like Dr Fuhrman’s book “Eat To Live” but it still helped him a lot… reversing diabetes etc…

but for me, longevity is not the issue… quality of life… especially spiritual quality… what we do for others without any selfishness and rewards… is

from my POV, someone like Peace Pilgrim who commits totally to fifteen years of helping others without any selfishness and rewards is worth a lot more than a selfish life of 100 years… example: http://www.peacepilgrim.org

The GOOD as far as nutritional knowledge is concerned… are the honest and credible scientists of nutrition… who have demonstrated in their own lives and the thousands of common people they helped… these are Dr Joel Fuhrman… Dr Alan Goldhamer… Dr. T. Colin Campbell… perhaps others that i missed…

the common point of view here is that it’s the micro-nutrients found in plants and fruits, especially lots of greens, that are needed at this time of extreme pollution and toxins in the father sky, mother earth, sister waters, and innocent brother animals…

and we know which are the healthy fats and where to get them… avocados, seeds like ground flax, chia, hemp, etc, and nuts like walnuts etc… not too much is needed… but depends whether you are an athlete, construction worker, or meditating in a Himalayan cave… or sitting in an office all day with a laptop… only if extra carbs are needed, there are the starchy root veggies and some select whole grains… but only if your digestion can handle these… and does not lead to unnecessary extra lbs…

quality proteins? all foods mentioned so far, rich in micro-nutrients and healthy fats have the appropriate quality proteins proportioned by mother nature…

of course, every individual must customize even with the best of dietary protocol by Dr Fuhrman or others… according to ones ability to digest etc… and tests for nutritional deficiencies can be taken if one is not thriving for whatever reason… and corrected via simple supplements…

in addition to a high-micro-nutrients plant based diet and healthy fats, there are powerful healing modalities that are very much underutilized in our culture… these are water fasting( which i have done ) and green juice fasting( which i will do shortly)… meanwhile just recently i added green juicing to my Eat-To-Live diet…

    http://www.healthpromoting.com/

The BAD as far as nutritional knowledge is concerned… includes super-athletes, super-driven, super-egos, super-adventurers who hypnotise us with their mystical stories( which even i enjoy )… and they want to sell exotic expensive super-foods super-supplements…

what can these teach us… us the common people… who want to live simple but valued lives with ethics… and love for all, for everything, especially all the innocent animals…

the past is gone… romanticizing about it will not recapture it… creation is ever flowing… a new… never repeating exactly… should i take a gun and shot the deer that come into my back yard?

look into their eyes and be still… be still and know that all is god… in that stillness there is formless oneness… inexpressible… that is our true nature… not this body, healthy or unhealthy, and the noisy confused mind… ever grasping for knowledge and self interest… not restrain destroying others in one way or another…

only a clear mind free from the past can be an effective instrument for infinite intelligence to act creatively in the here-and-now circumstances… which are completely different from the past…

The Ugly as far as nutritional knowledge is concerned… these are those who use fuzzy logic and pseudo-science reminiscent of the tobacco industry who corralled enough scientists and medical doctors who were smoking heavily themselves due to the great stress involved dealing with disease care… a psychiatrist, only chosen by my mother because he spoke her language, had to cancel an appointment as he succumbed to the ten pack per day…

now we hear stories that cancer can be cured my eating meat… totally in contradiction to the current medical science and common sense… i have talked to several cancer survivors after surgery, radiation, chemotherapy who were told nothing by their doctors about staying way from meat…

to eat our brother-sister animals is cannibalism because we have to kill them… and their flesh is similar to ours…

plants, fruits, nuts, seeds live for a season and when ripe fall to the ground ready to reincarnate… regardless if we eat them or not… that’s why everyone should have a garden… which is possible if we restructured our society away from greed and mindless egoic ambitions…

those who feel animal flesh is necessary for sustenance will not restrain themselves from eating human flesh during hard times… as has happened to some degree in famines and other distressed situations…

but, Jesus and others have showed us that the body-life is not that important… but the spirit is… in previous life Buddha willingly intentionally sacrificed his body to feed a wounded lioness with cubs to save her life… who next life became Buddha’s main disciples…

do not be deceived by the adventurous lives of a few…
the human body and mind are a great miracle and some are born, for whatever reason, with strong constitutions & much vital energy… so their bodies can withstand much abuse and harsh environments… in the end proving nothing… their teachings are usually misguided… success in this life is due to our efforts only secondarily, primarily it is due to past karma, not genetics, not blood types, etc… therefore beware of successful people selling you their knowledge for a price… it just adds to their success not yours…

therefore our effort( great effort ) in this life must be to go within and rest in the silence of the heart which is free from fear and confusion… surrender to your inner nature which is love, wisdom, peace, compassion, fearlessness, sharing and caring freely… not for a price…

    you are not the body-mind-thoughts-ego-intellect
you are the formless-spacious-peaceful-loving-awareness in which all this drama of good bad ugly is unfolding…

let us all try to embrace all with love… not easy but we can try… and try… and try… until it becomes effortless…

thank you for reading… if you persevered this far…
God Bless everyone… those i praised and those i blamed,

Thank you Kevin for this awesome week of debates. It has been so inspiring! I have gained so much, and really appreciate the final interview with Sean and Mike as they put things in perspective. I want to add that you have been such a gracious and pleasant host.

  45. Shelah says:

    Hi Kevin,

I was able to play T Colin Campbell’s interview, but could only get the first 27 seconds of Charlotte Gerson’s.

Is there a way to correct this problem?

    Thanks.

  46. Thomas says:

Ditto. Thanks Kevin for presenting a wide spectrum of opinions on diet and nutrition.

It’s too bad that there isn’t a limit on how large (and often) a response bloggers can post. A few people have felt so self-righteous and threatened that they repeatedly write extremely long diatribes to reiterate their biased opinions.
It takes a lot of scrolling to get past them.

Now we know why twitter limits the number of characters. :-)

  47. William McRae says:

Thank you so much. After listening to most of these calls (and probably way too much personal time over the last 2 years) my take away ends up as a wordy modified Pollan statement and seems to me now kind of like duh…….

    TAKE AWAY
Eat whole unprocessed food, mostly plants, mostly raw, most of the time, a lot of greens, not too much nuts and seeds (or animal products if you use them). Watch your Omega 3′s and supplement B12 and D, and check your blood from time to time for anything else. Eat with mindfulness and listen to YOUR body for more specifics.

    CAMPBELL and STERILIZATION OF VEGANS
I loved having Campbell last. What a gracious man, so thorough and unafraid to say “I don’t Know” and able to present without selling and point out the holes in his own work. It actually would have been weird to have him opposite some who all but called for the sterilization of vegans.

    RAW VS COOKED
Thanks for asking Campbell about Raw vs. Cooked. High Raw is kind of what I heard. And as he said, it would be an amazing challenge of a study. I would still love to hear more from him or other scientists (Fuhrman, hint, hint) about the biological processes involved in utilizing the nutrients from raw vs cooked. Mostly all I find now on this is from folks wanting to support their opinion.

    Thank you for all this………

  48. debra says:

Perhaps in addition to looking at ancestry, morals, and the general recommendations to eat foods in their natural state, we need to take state of health into account. Perhaps a long-term raw vegan diet works for those who are already at a certain level of health (and short-term raw vegan might be good for those who are seriously ill). Maybe at this time of all kinds of great upheaval, part of what needs to shift is diet. Maybe the healthiest are able to successfully move on to a diet that is quite a change from the traditional paleolithic one. It may even be beneficial for our evolution. My own guidance system gave me mixed answers to the whole question of vegetarianism – I had a dream in which, to my horror, I found I’d hit an animal with an axe. Realizing that I’d now wounded him, I decided I had to put him out of his misery. I stroked his head as I followed through with this agonizing act of killing. The animal emanated only peace and love towards me despite my actions. The following morning, I accessed my guidance (an exercise that involves writing questions with the dominant hand and answering them in writing with the non-dominant one), asking the question, “Should I work towards becoming more vegetarian?” The answer came,” We are all one. Chew on that.” I think the dream was in line with what animal communicators will say about the predator-prey relationship – that the animals peacefully accept their role as the one who gets sacrificed (despite what it looks like to us humans). The other message that came from my guidance exercise was more along the lines that what we do to others, we do to ourselves. Because of where my health is at right now, I’m left feeling that I’m going to be as plant-based as I can be while still working towards achieving a good level of health.
Thanks for all the good food for thought.
    Debra

  49. Tanya says:

Hearing Sean and Mike between 52-56 mins just makes me SO happy!!! Such sincere and beautiful wisdom makes me smile. Such passion, love, respect and inspiration. These are great guys with great clarity. This is the BEST way to end this series. Joyfully, consciously, enthusiasically. Eee!

  50. Thomas says:

It really does amaze me that of the tens of thousands of people healed by the Gersons that none of them have been on the TV news, or any shows to tell of their experiences. Not even a blog or YouTube video. They could really save a lot of people some pain. How could they be so selfish as to not inform the world?

  51. Wonderwife says:

I listened to most of the calls during this week and I must say it has at time given me a slight headache and at times it has been an emotional ride. But I’m glad I went though it and this last call was a great ending that makes me feel better about my choices. I loved the “feel” of this call and that things were lightened up a bit.

I have been receiving Mike’s great newsletter for a couple of years now and even though I know he added videos I have never taken the time to listen to them. I don’t think I had heard him speak before and now have an even greater appreciation for him than I did before. He works very hard. I liked as a person and his way of looking at things.

I especially liked his idea of planting in any way someone can. I have been thinking the same thing lately. We are starting our own backyard garden and it occurred to me that if everyone did this it would (1)have an impact on the health of the general population lowering health care needs (2) get people back in touch with the planet (3) support heirloom/non-GMO seed companies making them stronger and less likely to be bought up by evil companies like Monstanto (4) it would bring neighbors and communities together (5)it would get people outside and in the sun (6)it would give something for parents to share with their children (7) it would fight against our government who are trying to take our food freedoms away (8)it would take away from the carbon footprint and give people fresher food which is more nutritious. It would make the world a better place. “We the People” could be a grass roots movement.

I actually spoken with Sean Croxton a few times and am very impressed with him and I know he also works very hard. I also liked his message and enjoyed hearing him speak again. I like his common sense approach and personality. I’m glad to hear he is branching out and learning to cook. I think is important for a health adviser to know this in order to advise others. I have also been working on getting into the kitchen and learning new things. It is so important. Part of our health problems come from eating out to much and not knowing how our food is prepared.

I was glad Sean pointed out that being over weight usually is more complicated than just what we eat and how we exercise. Hormonal imbalances, digestion issues, etc. The SAD diet has damaged our bodies. I have been wishing all week someone would say this.

I do wish Mike had said what is diet journey was and how he ended up where he is today….whatever that is…..he never said.

I know there were more great points that they made…….but that is what stands out in my mind right now.

This was also my favorite interview…..well done.

  52. Sharon says:

Now I see why Campbell didn’t want to go up against anyone, LOL…almost everything he said I immediately came up with a rebuttal. This is not science! Starting with the Philippines children. There are many other possible causes in the lifestyles of these children. They were not taken into account.

Rural Chinese are far more likely (as are the people of India) to go barefoot, to not own cell phones, to not eat processed foods or canned food or drink bottled water or soda, to not use modern medical treatments, to not be vaccinated, etc, etc. Maybe if everyone were to avoid these practices they’d also be healthy! No matter whether they ate vegan or animal food.

My personal preference would be to have the entire world go vegan but I don’t think that would really be healthy for everyone in the long run. As we’ve heard from the speakers and read in the comments as well many have been vegan and failed to thrive. Health, not dogma and out of control subjective emotion, should be most important (and no factory farming or GMO foods for anyone!).

Donna Gates in my opinion has the right idea. Fix the gut, which in turn fixes the immune system and that will break down the foods so that it can be utilized (not pooped out in the form of green stool!) for health. She has thousands of people who have gotten well on her protocol. She’s done more for the autism community than anyone I know of in regards to healing these children. The Body Ecology Diet be done with or without meat. Cheaply or expensively.

Regarding Gerson….it doesn’t work on everyone. Salt is used in making sauerkraut and how many people who use sauerkraut daily get cancer? Give me a break!!!! Salt is not poison. I do agree that there’s no need to add a ton of salt to food though. Clean tastebuds don’t need it. Not everyone can afford to consume these vast amounts of veggies in the form of juice. Victoria Boutenko has loads of testimonials with green smoothies (with fruit!) and cancer. Why not clean the bowels with the fiber from the foods that feed the good bacteria in the gut that promote immunity? Sorry. I would never say “don’t do Gerson” and I’m not against it, I’m just saying it’s not the only option.

  53. Cindy says:

I would just like to Thank Kevin and Ann Marie for putting this awesome Great Debate
together for all of us and for FREE!! How
awesome is that…. You two are so special and work so hard to share this information with us and I also especially love your e-mails and your video’s. Thanks again.

I enjoyed and learned from all of these debates, and want to thank all who participated with such a wealth of information and now we all have to sort it out for our individual selves.

I really enjoyed the final debate with you
Kevin and Mike and Sean. I loved Charlotte
Gerson and at 88 years old and so healthy and
such a knowledge of information what a testiment to her father.

I would also like to thank Mike Adams for all
the hard work he does on Natural News to keep us all informed on everything that is going on around us in this world today. What
    a special fellow.

    Happy Valentine’s Day

  54. Rose says:

In answer to Sharon, you can make splendid sauerkraut without salt and that’s what I do.

Thank you so much Kevin for these talks.

I’m so glad that Charlotte Gerson and T Colin Campbel came last. Their quality and experience really shone through like a beacon of light after some of the other things we heard.

It’s interesting that those practising with patients or working with thousands of people: Drs Fuhrman and Goldhamer,Gabriel Cousins,Charlotte Gerson, and T Colin Campbell, came to a very similar conclusion: the healthiest diet is based on plants.

  55. Patty says:

Hi Kevin and Anemarie- I wanted to express my gratitude for allowing us to hear the info. from all the presentors you so wisely chose. I appreciate all the hard work you both have put forth to make this possible. Thank you for this amazing gift.

  56. Dickie says:

I’m off to watch liferegenerator vids now to get my head back on straight. I’ll probably have a glass of murdered vegetable juice shortly. I’m also factory farming sunflowers & wheatgrass on my windowsill lol!!!

  58. Debbie Page says:

What a week’s it’s been! To Kevin, Annemarie, and each of your guest speakers, a huge thank you for the time and energy spent to stage this forum and debate and help shine the light. Also, too, to those who took the time to offer their comments on the blog. I was delighted to hear what each of you had to say and to learn about your various perspectives. A closed mind is not unlike a closed parachute. I really appreciate the way the entire week was wrapped up with Charlotte Gerson’s and T.Colin Campbell’s commentaries. I haven’t felt this invigorated since taking his certificate program in plant-based nutrition at e-Cornell a year and a half ago. Thanks again to each of you!

  59. Melina says:

    Hey Kevin,
I was not sure if I heard Charlotte right. When she was discussing supplements used in the Gerson protocol I thought she said liver was used too. I am not sure if she meant liver organ meat or a liver supporting supplement. This would be helpful to know because, as I had said in a previous post, Dr. Gerson’s original protocol was said to have included raw liver juice. This is why I am curious if liver is still a part of the protocol in some form. Thank you in advance.

  60. roni says:

very good variety in speakers withdifferent view points, have enjoyed listening every night, even if I don’t completely agree, it is good to hear other’s viewpoints and their reasons. Unfortunately, both the Charlotte Gerson and T. Colin Powell talks have been repeatedly cutting out early – can they be moved to the other format, and maybe be left for an extra day? thanks!

  61. roni says:

oops – I meant T. Colin Campbell! been thinking too much of politics lately! ;)

  62. B~ says:

    No dogma, just dogs. :-)

I love people who are doing things too, like Dr. Gabriel Cousens with a 99% success rate with vegans but I’m not going to be like Mike Adams as much as I like him and respect him and say it’s just a food or diet and we have to be open to it anymore than I am going to be getting along with someone who sends dogs and cats to the shelter to be euthanized because they don’t feel like taking care of them anymore. Again I really respect and like him but I’m just not so sure when some of these people speak about eating meat, that they are really want to be that open but I do find it funny how as soon as something benefits their health the door for animal abuse opens wider.

  63. kevin concludes that all salt is bad. he only asks 4 panelists the question. all 4 from conventional medical training that sodium is bad. yet young states it is essential like fats but must be sea salt and that reg. salt is a chemical. mercola also promotes s.salt. as do other nds. ssalt is alkaline pregnant animals travel distances to get salt. gerson example of seamen not drinking salt water which is undrinkable as proof of too much salt was absurd. also her comment and the other two that we get enough from veg. doesnt add. she talks about 20lbs of veg. a day. most people who do eat veg and no processed foods are not likely to be consuming enough. man has always preserved food with salt. fish veg in form of saurkraut, pickles etc. high blood pressure and cancer amongst other diseases is problem of too much sugar white flour processed food, salt that is etc.

  64. Dena says:

Thank you so much for the wonderful show you two have put on. All the hard work and the many hours you spent on these shows! I also want to thank all of the speakers that made these shows so educational. I can’t begin to say enough. Thank you again Kevin and Annemarie. Your are a true blessing to many! :o )

  65. Donna says:

I’ve been loving this series! Thank you so much for putting this together. I’ll definitely be making changes to my diet.

I’m having trouble with the Charlotte Gerson recording though. It’s showing ‘error loading file’ when I click the play button. All the others are working fine (I use player #2 with the same player plugin, because it works better for me) so I know it’s not my browser and plugins. Can you leave it up a bit longer when it’s fixed so we get a chance to hear it? I really love Charlotte Gerson – awesome woman!

  66. Diane Sperber says:

It takes a humble person willing to consider the opinions of others especially if is counter to their own opinions, but in the end they will be wiser, for it will either reinforce their own beliefs or change them for the better.

Just wanted to thank you for the privilege and opportunity to listen to these debates. It took a lot of time and preparation. You did a great job! THANKS AGAIN!!!

    Diane Sperber

    • Carol says:

GREAT comment. I’m hoping I can get the debates before the price goes up. We’ll see. I have a love/hate relationship with all the controversy. LOL But it really does help to hear ALL sides.

  67. Dolli Alexander says:

    Hi Kevin~~
Thanks galore for the series. So much good
information, and your hard work is fully
    appreciated.
Mike and Sean are awesome. Their talk went far beyond food and diet to where a lot of our problems may have their origin. I really listened and heard them if you know what I mean. Good to have folks like them around.
Now you can get some sleep.(-:
    Best wishes….Dolli

  68. Manuel says:

There is no conformising over the lives of other brother/sister beings, Just give them back what we have stolen from them, and live and let them live.
Can we call ourselfs inteligent and just labeled the cause of todays misery, as the past that cannot be changed? Or are we thinking that we can override balange,as if we rulled the universe? I invite everyone to realise that we are all psychosomatic deseased to a certain degree, and the while psychology is looking for it in our past traumas, it seems to ignore the fact that there was no bigger trauma then to loose our real nature, which is our real selfs, and in fact psychology seems disigned to lead us even further from nature, while I believe that all the other traumas aflicting us, are related to the loss of our nature.

  69. Gail says:

Well..the wrap up with Charlotte Gerson is what ‘did it’ for me.
I didn’t have to muddle through anything else; sort it out, give it any more thought.
Charlotte Gerson says exactly what I know to be true; what I have seen with my own eyes, and simply what makes sense. AND I BELIEVER HER.
Maybe it’s because I’M FROM SAN DIEGO, and I’ve known personally of those who have done her program and whose lives have been completely turned around – whose health has gone from terminal to robust.
Maybe it’s because my Grandfather (whom I didn’t really know) was a doctor and was a man similar to the Gerson’s..had his practice in his home, and would be 130 years old if alive today. Maybe because (his widow) my Grandmother, who came to live with us when I was young was so very much like Charlotte and instilled in me that our food had all the answers.
Maybe it’s because I know that the years in my life when I was vegetarian is when I looked best, felt best, and operated the best..and all the years I spent just trying to eat like ‘everyone else’ has not worked..or made me as sick as ‘everyone else’.
    This was positively amazing, Kevin.

  70. What a beautiful meeting of minds this health forum has been!
The replies have also been a worthwhile read indeed.
My own life journey, over two thirds of a century now, has been from mostly cooked food, animal or otherwise, to gradually more and more raw fruits and veg’s, with the awesome result that I, and my partner, too, have re-sculpted our body shapes, and are feeling better now than ever before!
I have written my own quirky but safely science-based health almanac’Colour Eating Without Heating’. So,
please feel welcome at our inter-active website: Youthevity.com

Thanks Kevin for asking questions that ALL of us would want to know the answers to not just yourself or specific groups of people, it really helps everyone!

I missed the other calls but enjoyed both of these. Especially Campbell. I read his book and then read controversial evidence against it. He is promoting the one diet fits all theory but I like what he said. Try it and see if it works. All boils down to what Kevin has been telling us. OUR HEALTH needs to be our top priority. Whatever it takes to achieve that (I’m still working on that one :-) ) even if that means adding meat to the diet. We are ALL different. Then one reads of places in the world where they only eat things like meat and potato’s and can’t grow things like greens. Yet they are healthy. How we feel on our eating program to me is more important than any one’s study. Thanks Kevin. You have become one of my favorite sources (out of many) in my search for health.

There was a respond to this event on RawVeganRadio, that was interesting, and that brought up some of the weaknesses of this “debate”.

Maybe the real debate is to start now, like this? :)
